According to the fair’s organisers and the participating businesses, this year’s event saw a significant rise in customer purchasing with sales increasing by between 30% and 50% over last year. Many businesses reported good sales of their products at the fair. In particular, the Hoa Tho Textiles and Garments Company took 150 million VND, the Da Nang branch of the Viet Nam Industrial Livestock Production Company (VISSAN) 100 million VND, the Hai Vy Company 100 million VND, the Viet Thang Garments Company 80 million VND, and the Moc Chau Dairy Company 40 million VND.
The city’s Trade Promotion Centre fully funded the stall rentals and registration fees at the event for the local Blind Association and the Association of Agent Orange (AO) Victims, and half funded 5 cooperatives in the city’s Cooperative Alliance. This funding, valued at over 22 million VND in total, came from the centre’s trade promotion budget.
